Guest Info

We look forward to hosting you for your
round of golf at Jumping Brook CC!

To make sure your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible, please review our information below;

It is expected that members and their guests will choose to dress in a fashion befitting the surroundings and atmosphere provided in the setting of the Club. Dress requirements for men prohibit: denim of any type, T-shirts, and collarless shirts. Golf shorts are permitted. Dress requirements for women prohibit: halters, tank tops, low neck shirts without collars, bike shorts, and any type of denim. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times when on club premises excluding the locker room facilities. Members and guests are required to use the locker room facilities for the changing of apparel or footwear. Any person that is not wearing proper attire will not be permitted to use any of the golf facilities. Golf casual attire is permitted in Tillie & Willies restaurant.

Golfers are permitted to walk and carry at Jumping Brook Country Club any time Monday through Thursday and after 2:00 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Pull carts are not permitted on the golf course.

It is the goal of all players to complete the rounds in four hours. This amount of time is more than adequate, provided all players remain aware of the rights of others to play without delay. It is the responsibility of each group to keep pace with the group ahead. If a group falls one complete hole behind the group ahead, the group should allow the following group to play through. It is each group’s responsibility to be observant of this position on the course and keep pace. Our golf professionals have the authority to keep play moving at the proper pace for all players’ enjoyment. Players unable to keep proper pace may be requested to skip holes in order to resume proper position on the course. If a player is repeatedly warned for slow play, the club may take such action as it deems appropriate, including without limitations, restricting the person’s use of the golf course during certain times of the day.

All club members and their guests are required to check in at our golf shop counter prior to their tee time. The guest of the club member will be required to pay the appropriate guest fee.

Cell phone use is permitted. Cell phones are required to be in silent or vibrate mode only when on the course and in the dining room. If a call needs to be taken we ask that you be courteous to other members and DO NOT delay play. If you are in the dining room please excuse yourself to a private room/area for your conversation. Cell phone use should not interfere with other members’ and guests’ peace and tranquility that they expect at Jumping Brook Country Club.

If you or any player in your group sees lightning or hears thunder, you should cease play and seek shelter in the Clubhouse or other suitable structures immediately. The Club assumes no responsibility for Acts of God; such as lightning, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc.

“PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK”.

The warm-up areas are open during the posted Golf Shop operating hours, unless otherwise posted. Range balls are for use on the warm-up range only and are not permitted to be used on the golf course. Range balls are not permitted to be taken off of the property and balls must be hit from designated areas only. Golf carts are not permitted on the practice tee area. Our Warm-up Facility is designated an “Irons Only and Mats Only” area.

Wireless Internet is available at the Club. Please inquire at the golf shop for assistance. Jumping Brook Country Club has private areas for business meetings, just ask one of our catering staff for assistance.

Locker room amenities include shower facilities, towel service, and guest lockers (if available). Please see locker room attendant for assistance.

Carts are restricted for use on the golf course only. Golf carts shall not be used by a Member or guest on the property of the Club without proper assignment and registration in the Golf Shop. Each operator of a golf cart must have a valid driver’s license. Only two persons and two sets of golf clubs are permitted per golf cart. Carts must remain on cart paths where available around all greens, tees or bunkers. Carts are not permitted to be driven through rough terrain; including hazards. Carts should be driven according to Manufacturer’s directions and Starter/Marshal’s directions. Operation of a golf cart is at the risk of the Operator; safety should be followed at all times. Damaged carts must be reported to the Golf Shop. Cost of repair to a golf cart which is damaged by a Member will be charged to the Member or, in the case of damage by a guest, to the sponsoring Member. The Club reserves the right to restrict golf carts at any time.

Follow appropriate etiquette concerning cart usage, course upkeep, and pace of play; play promptly when it is your turn. No more than five minutes should be spent searching for a lost ball. Remember that you are not playing in front of the group behind you, but playing behind the group in front of you; please keep pace with the group ahead. Be ready to play or putt when it is your turn. Park your golf cart on the cart paths where provided nearest to the next tee. Leave the green promptly when completed and do the scoring for the completed hole at the next tee. Respect the golf course and fellow players by repairing your divots, ball marks and raking bunkers after use.
